Lexical-semantic classification of the verbs in the kazakh language. Notion of perception verbs.

Abstract

The issue of lexical-semantic variation of perception verbs in the English and Kazakh languages is considered in the article. The given field of linguistics is under research for the first time. The author raises a question of lexicalsemantic classification of words in the Kazakh language to conduct a comparative analysis. The criteria of lexicalsemantic classification in the Kazakh language are described as well. As a result of deep study the author analyzes the history of lexical-semantic classification of the Kazakh verbs introducing the classification of such scientists as Y.E.Mamanov, A.Khasenova, M.Orazov. Lexical and semantic verb groups of the above mentioned authors are analyzed according to such criteria as content, coverage, accuracy, etc. The author introduces the reader with the perception verbs in the Kazakh language giving the examples in the English language. The given article will be useful for linguists, translators, and those who are interested in comparative aspects of two languages.
