Conceptual framework of functional grammar.

Abstract

This article is devoted to one of the new areas of language - the functional grammar, its basic concepts: semantic category, functional semantic field, the categorical situation. The relationship and differences between the traditional system and functional grammar are analyzed from the point of view of the author. Basic concepts and categories of functional grammar are determined through a process of perception and awareness of life as a result of rational knowledge. Trinity of languages "Genesis - the concept - language" considered on the basis of linguistic categories of system concepts. The article refers to the direction of studying language means "from content to form and from form to content" as the main subject of functional grammar. The attention is paid to the fact that the full disclosure of the nature of language has great value as a system of combining linguistic units, categories and other phenomena which are based on a certain semantic categories of grammar.
