Abstract

The essence of the artistry lies in the ability to influence on the crowd, «to capture it» by the performance. Not only a deep psychological penetration into music comes to the foreground, but also an ability to subject the audience to his/her own creative will – «artistic magnetism». Personal charm and artistic ability to engage the listener into musical experience play no small part in it. Artistry includes the ability of double experience of time on the stage. It lies in instantaneous anticipation, foreseeing the whole, which is to be unfolded. Also it is an experience of real moments, which is manifested in focus of awareness, a will on the overall movement of musical ideas. The peculiarity of artistic performance is that the thoughts and feelings, imported by a musician, should be thought over and experienced in advance, while getting accustomed to the musical image. They should become somewhat an essence of the energy of sounding image. And on the stage, it’s important to have self-control and composure in implementing the intentions.
