Trilingualism and prestige of the Kazakh language

Abstract

The article discusses the policy of Trilingualism and the status of state language. Moreover, the major directions of the Trilingualism policy in our country is analyzed, and the data on its implementation is given.
Nowadays one of the key directions in socio-economic development of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the acquirement of three languages by kazakhstanis. In this regard, the article discusses the understanding of young people about their acquirement of languages nowadays, and as the situation in other countries regarding these concepts.
