Abstract

Accusative case forms didn’t exist in ancient time and they were unknown. Author explains their background by new sources. He tries to report phonetic changes of accusative case forms by examples from historical written manuscripts. Article is valuable with its novelty. There are some conclusions which were unknown to the science before. Old forms of possessive case have н became dead form, then concise form of accusative case were added before endings ы/-і, -у/-ү and assimilated very well with each other. Accusative case (despite that it seems to have many variants) was derived from only one form. It is – ٭уқ. Vowels –ы/-и, -у/-ү worked to keep meanings of the endings of accusative case. Position of consonant н before consonant ғ–is a result of historical development.
