The artistic heritage of Zhambyl Dzhabaev

Abstract

The works of prominent poet and improvisator Zhambul Zhabaevare considered in this article. The level of research and the themes of his poems are analyzed. Actuality and peculiarities of Zhambul Dzhabaev’s poems are revealed. The life and work of the famous bard, especially the early period of the poetic heritage of art, traditional features, poetics are considered as one of the most important mainstream of dzhambulovedeniya. In post­Soviet time, some poems of the great bard were changed, reduced, corrected for obvious cases. Only recent years Jambul Dzhabayev’s poems are dealt with today’s point of view.
