Abstract

The article is devoted to problems of studying features of verbalization of an archetype «Fire» by means of idioms in Kazakh and English languag­es. Authors try to define the place of an archetype «Fire» in Kazakh and English cultural linguistics by comparison of their similarities and distinc­tions expressed in semantics of the different language units presented in lexicographic sources.
