Functions of tie and exposition in structure of P.I.Melnikov-Pechersky's novel "In woods".

Abstract

The author considers features of a plot of P.I.Melnikov-Pechersky's novel «In woods». She pays a attention to problems of studying of writer’s creativity, in particular, his dilogies, in literary criticism of 19-21 centuries and notes lack of serious researches about poetics of melnikov’s novels in prolog of article. Further are analyzed an originality and functions of tie and exposition in a multiplotic narration. According to the author, folklore and ethnographic elements create, on the one hand, the special intonation conforming to requirements of the ethnographic novel and, on the other hand, are composition methods of creation of subject lines in novel. The analysis of functions of these elements of a plot testifies that P.I. Melnikov-Pechersky belongs to realistic Pushkin and Gogol’s school.
