History of the development methods of word-formation

Abstract

The article examines the main trends in solving the problem of modeling word derivation. The first trend is manifested in the accumulation of the number of criteria by which classified methods of word formation, which in turn contributes to better knowledge of the model of forming words. The second trend is related to the change of scientific paradigms in linguistics and scientific approaches and outlines ways of word formation as a formative element of the system on the one hand and as a component of the nominative (formative) activities on the other. Referencing methods for word formation in this article made in consideration of its place in the language system and language activities. Analyzed the views of the given model known derivatologov. Evidence the development of the concept of logic associated with the development of criteria and classification methods of word formation.
