Abstract

In the article the vowel harmony and non-vowel harmony changes in Kazakh, Uzbek and Russian are being studied. There have been given a comparison of peculiarities of phonological processes, meaningful phonological units and their positional varieties. The actuality of the research, statement of hypothesis, aim, tasks, methods and scientific novelty of the research are stressed in the introduction. Positional changes of sounds in languages of various types have various qualitative and quantitative features. This can be explained that the phoneme structure and their positional varieties, law of combination of sounds, prosodic dominants in them differ greatly in the languages compared.
