Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of ways the using information technologies in the educational process, forms of organization of the educational process using mass open online courses. The purpose of this article is to identify potential opportunities for mass open online courses, as well as to generalize the experience of practical use of methods and training formats using embedded electronic professionally-oriented components, aimed at identifying students’ understanding of the essence of self-education and its role in the formation of professional competencies. The use of MOOCS as well as their integration into the traditional education system, will ensure, according to the authors, high information content and information capacity of educational and language material (electronic educational and methodological materials, lecture notes and presentations, video tutorials), implements mass individualization of the educational process and will help create optimal conditions for training future teachers of Russian language and literature.
