English and american slang, its role and place in communication.

Abstract

In this article the problem of the use of slang in communication is considered. For the best understanding and the correct use of this language unit, we considered some types of a slang. Briefly described each variant of slang and gave examples.Actuality of this work is to open one of the most interesting and mysterious areas of any foreign language, namely a slang. Some linguists think that the slang decorates language, introduces in it brightness, but the part of linguists think that the slang has negative influence on language. In the conclusion, we can say that the English and the American slang is the variant of informal conversation, which isn't coinciding with norm of the literary language. Therefore, the slang always needs to be used deliberately and after careful consideration not to get to an awkward situation.
