The main problems of the terminology in the arabic terms system.

Abstract

Terminology as a discipline emerged in the twentieth century and is considered the source of replenishment of the lexical structure of a language, particularly of the Arabic language, and the terms, as its basic units, constitute the core of the terminology used . Literary Arabic language in terms of its vocabulary is divided into « اللغة العامة » a common language and « اللغة المتخصصة » a special language , where the second consists of special sublanguages. If phonetics and grammar are identical, the vocabulary is different. Therefore, we differentiate two concepts: a general vocabulary and a special (terminological lexicon). Among the issues addressed in the terminology of the Arabic language definition of the term, the requirements of the term, as well as lexical items to express the concepts of «a term» and «terminology». Within terminological system transfering of terminological units «a term» and «terminology » standardized terms in Arabic - the language of rich synonymous, is the basis of theoretical issues.
