Podcast – modern technology in language learning

Abstract

Article is devoted to the issue of modern technology – a podcast in the education system. The author demonstrates the application of this technology in learning foreign language, that it can be used in the study of the Kazakh language and Kazakh language methodology. In one of the most popular servers YouTube, learners can analyze, make comments and do other activities in the podcast and it is an effective method of improving speaking and listening skills. The author concludes that improvement of the types of speaking in professionally oriented Kazakh language through the podcast is a search of new paradigm of the study. Podcast In learning foreign language consists of three phases and 11 steps, it corresponds to improve the speaking in professionally oriented Kazakh language, it helps to save time in the classroom and develops students’ motivation for learning language, it also improves ability to perform independent works and expands methodological potential.
