Abstract

As well as other languages entering into oguz group of Turkic languages, the Turkmen and gaguz languages though found historically certain individual qualities, from prototurk language conceptually didn't differ. In these languages the category of a case possesses only certain phonetic differences. The Turkmen language in case affixes is characteristic element preservation sagir nun. The category of cases which was historically playing a significant role in a morphological structure of Turkic languages, in the Turkmen and gagauz languages attracts attention original properties. Though in Turkmen and the gagauz languages the certain distinctive features connected with category of a case also are shown, basic changes didn't occur, in both languages the category of a case and morphological indicators inherent in these category were formed in compliance with anchient turk written monuments, and also other historical monuments.
