National images in Russian literature of Kazakhstan

This article discusses the works of Russian writers of Kazakhstan – Annenkov-Vernar, A. Sorokin, M. Prishvin and V. Ivanov, who deeply feel the life and existence of the steppe people. The article studies specific methods and techniques of writers, as well as the mastery of writers who were able to reveal the state of the steppe people in a difficult political period and represent the whole picture of the era in their works. M. Bakhtin clearly defined the place of foreign writers in the literary process of certain culture in his work called «The aesthetics of verbal creativity». M.Bakhtin said: «There is a very tenacious, but one-sided misconception that for a better understanding of another culture it would be necessary to move into it, and forgetting one’s own culture, look at the world through the eyes of a foreign culture…» This article analyzes the creativity of writers who identified Bakhtin’s statement as the primary goal in life.Downloads
