In the article observed as soon Umay of the mythology. Author is trying to compare of mythology in Kazakh, Indian and Greek people’s mind. As is generally known, was the patron of fireside, personified the vital beginning. Similar character is in Greek mythology - Gay. Gay goddess of Earth, giving life all, that lives and grows on her. Mother-earth is bear Sky, Mountains and Sea. And by an analogue Gays there is Uma in the Old Indian mythology. With sankrits means «light», «refulgency», «grandeur». Her name is mentioned in the most ancient myths of India. Uma, as goddess of Earth, patronized to the creations. And Umay, and Uma patronized to the women, and helped birth of child patronized ild on light. And the Sumer goddess of the earth Pritkhivi is mother of all live. In Types as a whole Pritkhivi acts indissolubly with Dyaus Pitar, a sky embodiment. All myths about a geogenesis have similar character, in them the outlook and pro-knowledge of the people is shown.
