Mythopoetry of F. Sologub’s novel “Melkiy bes”.

Abstract

In the article the mythopoetry of novel of Ф. of Sologub’s is investigated the "Shallow demon". System of characters-personages of novel examined on a joint by really-domestic and mythological plans of narration. Two plans of narration open up in her - mythological and really-domestic, - reflected in each other, as in a mirror, simultaneously and contrasted and incorporated strange character through the difficult system of accordances. Such construction deepens the semantic prospect of novel, complicating him the same and connecting to the powerful context mythological. Literature of the XX century constantly calls to mythology as source of with a plot, reason constructions of artistic texts, powerful and inexhaustible supplier of eternal themes, characters, symbols. The revival of interest in a myth, examined after the epoch of romanticism, began exactly in symbolism, thus artists-symbolists not only leaned against a myth as on an original source in the work, not simply drew ideas and characters from the richest arsenal of mythopoetry heritage but also actively mythologized surrounding reality, giving a mythical halo some facts of the biography, erecting certainly-domestic realities of the time in status of myth.
