the law of compatibility of consonants and vowels in oral speech, soft vowel sounds – hard vowel sounds.Abstract
In 2009, the author discovered the universal law of compatibility of consonants and next following vowel sounds. The law states: Consonants and next following vowel sounds of speech can be combined into syllables, if articulation of consonant and next following vowel sound is similar and the same for these two sounds. This means that hard consonant sounds can be combined into a syllable with the hard vowels only, and soft consonants – with soft vowels only. There is no such a combination of consonants and next following vowels in a live oral speech in any language of the world. This scientifically proves that the vowels as consonants in all languages of the world are palatalized or non- palatalized. This allowed the author to open 4 soft vowels in European and Russian language: [[ä] = [я] = [ә], [ü] = [ю] = [ү], [ö] = [ё] = [ө], [е] – are opposite to the hard sounds: [а], [у], [о], [э].Downloads
