Abstract

The article deals with the problem of linguistic-cultural and activity-based approaches to teaching the Kazakh language. The author reveals the sychological, pedagogical and methodological features of these approaches in the organization of training activities, the development of learner materials in teaching the Kazakh language in a foreign-language audience. In the article, the author also draws conclusions about the main activity of the teacher in teaching the Kazakh language to university students: creating conditions for developing students’ awareness of their educational activity in acquiring knowledge, abilities, skills; instructing students to effectively organize educational activity, independently enrich their knowledge of the Kazakh language. The implementation of these principles, in turn, requires the teacher to adhere didactically verified instructional techniques. The author draws conclusions about the effectiveness of individualization of teaching the Kazakh language through introducing the procedure of step-by-step contact-intact collective motions of students, which gives productive results for students not only in the classroom, but also in the use of knowledge, acquired skills and habits in the Kazakh language, obtained by means of training assignments, specially organized academic activity in their future profession and work.
