Some features of translating scientific texts

Abstract

This article concerns a very important problem regarding the translation of the technical texts from English into Russian. We also speak about strong distinctions between scientific and popular texts which you should know about making a translation. Much attention is also paid to the peculiarities of the translation of scientific texts, translating which you should overcome the difficulties connected with the translation of the terms. Examples of the abbreviation translation which you can often meet in scientific texts are given in our article too.
