The history of the study of phraseology in Kazakh and English languages

Abstract

The analysis of theories of domestic and foreign scholars such as Kenesbay I., Musabaev G., Sauranbayev N., Amanzholov S., Akhanov K., Sarsenbaev R., Bayteliev A., Kalybaeva K., Kashanova N., Satenova S. is made in the article. Phraseology is a rich section of the science of language which occupies a special position in the oral and written literature, shows thinking and wisdom of any people. Therefore, four stages of phraseology research are described. The comparison of Kazakh and English languages is an important topic, as the political, economic and cultural relations with the countries of Europe are actively developing since Kazakhstan’s independence. Papers and theses on comparative phraseological verbs of Kunin A.V., Myktybaeva T.Zh., Argyngazina S.B., Zhusupova R.B., Atakhanova R.K., Ospanova F.A., Moldasanova A.A. are described.
