Abstract

In this article the novel concept in works of the outstanding scientist of the XX century – the philologist, the philosopher, the culturologist M. M. Bakhtin, in particular, specifics of a genre of the polyphonic novel is considered. On the basis of work of Ф.М. Dostoevsky a scientist worked out theory of polyphonic novel. In opinion of М.М. Бахтина, Ф.М. Dostoevsky created a new novel genre - polyphonic novel substantially. М.М. Бахтин explained to the collision of different opposite points of view inherent to work of writer "polyphony". Scientist deeply analysing work of Dostoevsky, the novel of writer as "polyphonic novel" determines . A polyphonic novel consists of dialogues. In opinion of scientist, every idea and expressions of heroes disembogue in the ncompleted dialogue. Ф.М. Dostoevsky managed to listen dialogic relations everywhere, in all displays of the realized and intelligent human life. In the conclusion the conclusion is drawn that the concept of the polyphonic novel of M. M. Bakhtin philosophically enriched world literary criticism.
