Abstract

It is well known that computer programs are widely used in phonetic research and considered as an integral part of sounds analysis of the speech. The modern computer programs have considerable opportunities to synthesize the sound in a different ways. Because many aspects of articulation and hearing are inaccessible to a human ear and sight, researches in these directions are carried out by means of tools or computer programs. Experimental phonetics develops as the science integrating and reinterpreting according to the problems of knowledge and methods from a number of adjacent areas: acoustics and psychoacoustics, computational sciences, cognitive psychology, recognition of images, artificial intelligence and others. In experimental phonetics researches with use of the latest computer programs, especially in recent years, in connection with development of different innovative computer programs such as Praat, Win Cecil, Speech analyzer, GoldWave and etc
