Abstract

The article deals with issues related to the establishment of the linguistic nature of Internet communication as a special type of communication in the context of globalization and universal computerization. The material of the Kazakh Internet system (Kaznet) establishes common characteristics inherent in this type of modern communication. The author substantiates the proposition that linguistically speaking, Internet communication is a special type of speech, which is called «oral-written type of speech». The linguistic characteristics of the Kazakh Internet communication are given, the most typical language processes and phenomena that distinguish Kaznet as a special type of information flow are established. This kind of exchange of information is inherent in such a phenomenon as bilingualism (Russian-Kazakh bilingualism), in which the transition from one language to another occurs organically and, as a rule, is not noticed by the communicants themselves. In the actual graphical relationship for Kazakh Internet communication, features such as writing a word by combining Russian and Kazakh words or word-building morphemes are inherent.
