Abstract

This article deals with the linguocultural ritualized communicative situation – a «wedding» on the material of Russian, British and American cultures. The ritual contributes to the stability of the basic principles of the social life of the collective of people, ethnic, religious community. Ritualized forms of behavior are communication within a frame that appears as a chain of conditions: who-to whom – when – where – what – why – what for – how, in essence, is a process of communicative act.The analysis of factual material made it possible to reveal what is common, what is characterized by differences, the presence of nationally specific features that are present only in a certain culture and conditioned by philosophical, religious beliefs and deep national traditions for all cultures analyzed by us.
