Project technologies didactic potential in foreign language education

This article examines the didactic tasks to be solved and didactic results to be achieved by means of
project technologies for the purpose of foreign language education; projects pragmatic orientation;project
typology, namely the projects subject-content area, its nature of coordination, the nature of contacts, the
number of participants and its duration; competencies formed in the process of informational-searching,
research, creative and analytical-predictive project activities;project technologies features, such as communication, problematic orientation, context, integration, cooperation and creativity; and project technologies functions, such as motivational, informational, managerial, projecting and diagnostic.
