Students’ independent work in the Latin language at Medical University.

Abstract

Students individual work is a form of educational work. Its aims – instilling in students self-organization, self-discipline, a conscious attitude to the use of instructional time. Quest for independent work in the cours Latin language executed in the form of abstracts of reports, tests, crossword puzzles, tables. Theoretical knowledge, have repeatedly proven in independent work, can improve the culture of mental labor of future doctors. The integration of all parts of the educational and pedagogical work of the students is the basis of solving the main problem of medical schools – training of highly qualified personnel. This article deals with main types of individual work, which are used by teachers in this module. By SIW the use of various teaching methods is carried out, with their help students obtain new knowledge or generalize the before received knowledge. It is necessary to mark, that during Latin language lessons in high medical school the classic Latin isn’t studied, but the medical terminology in three subsystems: anatomical terminology, terminology and clinical terminology is studied in details. Taking into consideration the specific of this subject teaching to further medical workers, this article is original for this module. The aim of this article is to help teachers to form new system of SIW organization.
