Abstract

There are many forms of the suffixes of dative case in grammatical cases. There are classified as
archaic forms in modern Turkic languages and in the language of the ancient Turkic manuscripts as well.
Turkologists admitted that these elements had a root from the ancient times and a part of it appeared recently and suggested various hypotheses about their etymology. New etymology proved that dative case
has one basis in spite of different suffixes of the case. Many phono-morpho and semantic phenomena
such as the influence of the linguistic economy, linguistic drift, assimilation and the change of voiceless
consonants into the voiced have completely change the original form.
