Precedential texts as a reflection of cultural peculiarities of the society

Abstract

The article summarizes experience of learning of precedential texts on the lessons of Russian as a foreign language. Precedential texts in mass media are considered as a mean of learning of cultural peculiarities of the society. The need in learning of precedential texts as a mean of intercultural competency formation is being justified. The reasons of the active application of precedential texts in the modern mass media are being considered. Precedential texts are used to draw attention. It is noted that more often they are used in articles’ titles. Because of them, it is possible to propose ways of interpretation of facts. The article discusses different forms of work with precedential texts and provides illustrations. Sources of precedential texts are being analyzed. The article considers transformed precedential texts, which are compared to the initial version.
