On peculiarities of kazakh sentences with interrogative word ‘kaytedi’ and their english equivalents
Abstract
Peculiar features of Kazakh sentences with interrogative word «kaitedi» and the translated invariants of these sentences are selected points of the article. From the functional-semantic point of view Kazakh sentences and their English equivalents coincide on the basic semantics and belong to different functional types, depending on the nature and extent of the information requested, but from the communicative and pragmatic perspectivesthere is loss of emotional expressiveness of the original text.
