Abstract

The relevance of an integrated view of the formation of different types of art requires a special
approach to a single syncretic phenomenon that has a common system of means of expression. This
article is devoted to the peculiarities of the interaction of allied arts: music, poetry, painting, the laws of
the emergence of synthesis phenomena in the work of composers, painters, poets associated with the
synesthetic character of their thinking. An organic connection has always existed between these types
of art, requiring awareness and study of art, which has a systemic and multispecies character with various formative properties. At the basis of their unity lies the character of graphic, spatial, temporary art
that does not exist separately, they «live the rhythm and motive of another» with characteristic general
methods of organization, unique expressive means. We consider the commonality of the language of
works of art through the figurative perception of the surrounding world, through the ability of music to
evoke visual (pictorial, poetic, musical images) in our imagination, through the development of musical,
figuratively associative thinking that can convey the specific features of the human state of mind, the
pictorial state of nature .
