Abstract

The problem of realizing the possibilities of translation in cross-cultural communication is considered in the article. Special attention is paid to the peculiarities of the development of translation within
the anthropocentric paradigm, which allows to consider the interaction of language and culture, language and thinking, to present the whole linguistic picture of the world in the text. According to the
author of the article, the linguistic factor plays a special role in the process of cross- cultural relations. At
present, the process of translation from one language to another one in the context of globalization and
integration, expansion of international relations and the exchange of information have become an actual
problem for linguists and carriers of that or another language.
