Virtual linguistic personality in discursive space of social media

The subject of the article's research is virtual linguistic personality and discourse in social media. The active use of social networks by politicians, activists and the public during elections and political campaigns proves that its role is growing even among global politicians. The purpose of the study is to, through theoretical analysis, identify the features of linguistic style and linguistic structure and discourse in social networks in the context of modern science and practice of media communications. The study was conducted by analyzing D. Trump's publications on social networking platforms in determining the virtual linguistic structure of political posts and discourse on social networks. In addition to studying the linguistic personality of D. Trump, his linguistic portrait was studied from the point of view of political discourse.
The practical part describes the content, linguistic features, writing style, appropriate expressiveness of speech, rhetorical means, communication methods, speech strategies and their expression of posts published on Donald Trump's Twitter profile. The article conducted a thematic analysis of nearly 120 posts and quotes from Donald Trump's Twitter account to identify recurring themes, values, and sentiments in his posts. Through stylistic analysis of linguistic texts, the works provide an explanation of D.Trump's communication strategies and their expression.
