The Modern Role of Kazakh Proverbs and Sayings in Communication: National Values and Philosophical Meaning

Language, as a complex system that preserves the history, culture, and worldview of a nation, holds a special place in modern communication. Therefore, studying the functional features of Kazakh proverbs and sayings in the context of contemporary interaction allows us to reveal their ethnolinguistic and linguocultural roles.
This article examines the philosophical significance of Kazakh proverbs and sayings in national consciousness, linking it to their relevance in modern communication. Proverbs and sayings, as figurative reflections of national worldview, serve as an important tool for conveying social, ethical, and moral values, spiritual heritage, and the system of relationships between individuals and society. The study analyzes proverbs and sayings related to concepts such as homeland, family, nature, labor, time, and moral values, identifying their role and influence in contemporary social and cultural discourse.
The purpose of the study is to determine the role of Kazakh proverbs and sayings in modern communication and analyze their philosophical content and values that reflect national consciousness.
To achieve the research objectives, linguocultural and descriptive-analytical methods were applied. As a result, the potential of Kazakh proverbs and sayings in preserving societal values and transmitting them to future generations was revealed.
