Literature of the Ural-Caspian region: lyrics of Marat Otaraliev, thematic horizon, linguistic expressiveness

The purpose of writing this article is mainly focused on the study of the heritage of poet-writers of the Ural-Caspian region. Each region of our vast Motherland is rich in literary, cultural and historical heritage. It is always important to study the spiritual and artistic heritage and national values of the peoples living in a large country in connection with the traditions and customs of each region. Special research work is carried out on the literary creativity of poets-writers of Atyrau region, geographically part of the Ural-Caspian region. Marat Otaraliev is a literary representative of this region, one of the poets who was recognised early for his poetic talent but died early.
In this article the subject area of Marat Otaraliev’s lyrics and the artistic structure of the poet’s language are considered from all sides. As a result of literary analysis of the content of his poems, the reasons for writing the poet’s works and the author’s search for the theme are analysed. The connection of the poet’s characters with the environment, the mystery of the inner experience of the lyrical image, the author’s ideal, the idea of what to tell the reader are revealed in the course of analysing a literary work.
The poet is a lyric poet who was able to optimally and successfully use in his works artistic and expressive means, tropes and images that increase the power of the word. The article pays attention to the way the poet uses the literary language of the people and the ways of creating new author’s verbal expressions (epithet, metaphor, prosopodosis, anadiplosis, metonymy, epiphora, anaphora, hyperbole, alliteration, etc.), analyses and proves by examples.
