In article nature of functioning of structure of model of a literary portrait is considered. In memoirs the portrait is the model of the world reflecting the author's concept of created character. The basis of genre typology of a literary portrait is the conflict, as a sign of its structure. At creation of a literary portrait the writer leans on an image of the hero taken from the reality. The importance here has portrait similarity. The real personality is learned by the author as an art ensemble, as independent and complete "plot" for a verbal live writing. In the art image of originality of "face", thinking, language of the person, being shown in his character, a manner of behavior and in the biography, creativity – the esthetic essence of a genre of a literary portrait is concluded. Essential difference of a literary portrait of the considered period of history of the Russian literature is that the portrait of the hero or his visual image form an initial situation from which all structure of a narration "grows". The initial real situation of communication of the author and the hero did a visual image of being a portrait by a "necessary" element of structure.References
