Submissions to the journal are made using Open Journal System, the online submission and peer review system. Registration and access is available at Submissions

The author for correspondence is obliged to provide a cover letter for publication in the journal.

The Editorial Board of “Eurasian Journal of Philology: Science and Education”

  • Accepts previously unpublished articles on scientific areas of the journal (indicated on the website). The article is submitted in electronic format (in formats .doc, .docx, .rtf) ONLY by uploading it through the functionality of the journal’s website (Open Journal System or Editorial Manager).
  • Font size – 12 (abstract, keywords, literature - 10, table text – 9-11), font – Times New Roman, alignment – text width, interval – single, indented margin - 0,8 cm, margins: top and bottom – 2.0 cm, left and right – 0 cm.
  • Figures, tables, graphs, diagrams, etc. are presented directly in the text with the indication of the numbering and title (E.g., Figure 1- Picture name). The number of figures, tables, graphs and diagrams should not exceed 20% of the total article length (in some cases up to 30%).
  • Article Length (not including the title, information about authors, abstract, keywords, literature (bibliographic list) should be at least 3,000 words and not exceed 7,000 words.
  • Authors MUST indicate in the cover letter in the Open Journal System or Editorial Manager that the submitted article/manuscript has not been published anywhere before, and that the article does not contain borrowed text fragments from other works without reference to them.
  • The cost of publication and payment procedure is established by the publishing house "Kazakh University" and is made by the author after approval by external reviewers and the scientific editor.

The structure of the article:

Front page:

  • The first line – the Interstate rubricator of scientific and technical information (IRSTI number (in exceptional cases the UDC - Universal Decimal Classification), alignment – left, font – bold (for further information please refer to http://grnti.ru).
  • The title of the article (title) should reflect the essence and content of the article and attract the reader’s attention. The title should be short, informative and should not contain jargon or abbreviations. The optimal length of the title is 5-7 words (in some cases 10-12 words). The title of the article should be presented in Russian, Kazakh and English. The title of the article is presented in bold lowercase letters, center alignment.
  • Author(s) of the article – Initials and surname, place of work (affiliation) (Note: use the full name of the university), state, city (order must be saved)
  • Numbering is not required if several authors are from the same university, only if they are from different universities.
  • City, country – in Russian, Kazakh and English; email. Information about the authors is presented in regular font in lowercase letters, center alignment.
  • The ORCID ID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) hyperlink is in the center below. (Instructions for registration is in the attached files https://orcid.org/ );
  • Abstract of at least 160 words in Russian, Kazakh and English, no more than 300 words font size  10. The structure of the abstract includes the following obligatory items:

- Introduction to the research topic.

- The purpose, main directions and ideas of scientific research.

- A brief description of the scientific and practical significance of the work.

- Brief description of the research methodology.

- Main results and analysis, conclusions of the research work.

- The value of the study (the contribution of this work to the relevant field of knowledge).
- Practical significance of the results.

  • Key words / phrases – 4-5 in Russian, Kazakh and English.

  • The Introduction consists of the following main elements: rationale for the choice of topic; relevance of the topic or problem, purpose statement. Justifying the choice of topic based on the description of the experience of predecessors, there is a report on the existence of a problem situation (the absence of any studies, the appearance of a new object, etc.). The relevance of the topic is determined by the general interest in the study of this object, but by the absence/lack of comprehensive answers to existing questions, it is proved by the theoretical or practical significance of the topic. Define the object, subject, goals, objectives, methods, approaches, hypotheses, and meaning of your work. The purpose of the research is related to the proof of the thesis, that is, the presentation of the subject of research in the aspect chosen by the author.
  • The Material and Methods section should consist of a description of the materials and work progress, and a complete description of the methods used.
    • The characteristic or description of the research material includes its presentation in qualitative and quantitative terms. The characteristic of the material is one of the factors determining the reliability of the conclusions and methods of investigation.
    • This section describes how the problem has been studied: detailed information without repeating previously published established procedures; the identification of equipment (software) and the description of materials are used, with the obligatory introduction of novelty in the use of materials and methods.
    • The scientific methodology should include:
    • research question(s);
    • hypothesis (thesis);
    • stages of the study;
    • research methods;
    • research results.
  • The Literature review section should cover fundamental and new works of domestic and foreign authors,the analysis of the given works in terms of their scientific contribution, as well as the research gaps that you complete in this article.
    • It is UNACCEPTABLE to have multiple links/references unrelated to the work.
  • In the Results and Discussion section, as one of the important and main sections of the article, an analysis and discussion of the results of the author’s research and scientific contribution is provided. It is necessary to analyze the results of the author’s work and discuss relevant results comparing them with previous works, analyses and conclusions.
  • The Conclusion, results -generalization and summing up of the work at this stage; confirmation of the truth of the assertion made by the author, and the author’s conclusion about the change in scientific knowledge, taking into account the results obtained. The conclusions should not be abstract; they should be used to summarize the results of research in a particular scientific field, with a description of proposals or opportunities for further work.
    • The Conclusion should contain the following questions: What are the aims and methods of the study? What are the results? What are the conclusions? What are the prospects and opportunities for implementing, applying the development?
  • The list of used literature, or Bibliographic list consists of not less than 15 titles, not less than 50 % of the total number of titles in English. If there are works presented in Cyrillic in the list of literature, it is necessary to present the list of literature in two versions: first - in the original, the second - in the Romanized alphabet (transliteration).
    • Style of the list of References in Russian and Kazakh according to GOST 7.1-2003 “Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and compilation rules” (requirement for publications included in the list of CCES - Committee for Control of Education and Science).
    • The style of the Romanized list of literature (References): author (s) (transliteration - http://www.translit.ru) → (year in parentheses) → article title in transliterated version [translation of the article title into English in square brackets], name of the Russian-language source (transliteration, or English name - if available), and notation in English.

The list of References is presented in alphabetical order and ONLY those works that are cited in the text.

The style of the Romanized list of literature, as well as sources in English (another foreign language) for social and humanitarian directions - is American Psychological Association (http://www.apastyle.org/). 

Nota bene!  The surnames of the authors are indicated in alphabetical order (no comma after the surname before the initials); after the surname - in parentheses the year of publication, the translation of the title into English is indicated in square brackets. All dashes and slashes must be removed. At the end of the reference (In Kazakh) is indicated if the source is in Kazakh and (In Russian) if the source is in Russian, etc.

  • This section should take into account:
  • The main scientific publications, advanced research methods that are used in this field of science and on which the author's work is based are cited.
  • Avoid excessive self-citations.
  • References to publications of foreign authors are preferred.
  • The bibliographic list should contain fundamental and most relevant works published by well-known foreign authors and researchers on the topic of the article.
  • References to cited works in the text of the socio-humanitarian direction are given in brackets, indicating the first author of the work, year of publication: number of page(s). For example, (Zalessky 1991: 25). If there are several works by the same author published in the same year in the Reference section the letter “a”, “b”, etc. is added to the year of publication. For example, (Saduova, 2001a: 15), (Saduova, 2001b, 22). For natural science articles References are made in square brackets with numbering as the cited works appear in the text.

Finishing and editing the article, please check the spaces after all characters in the article, and especially in the References section (bibliography) (after full stops, commas, dashes, colons, slashes and brackets). Select all the text. Click the Font button, specify TimesNewRoman, size 12, text color Auto, underline No. Click on the Paragraph button, indents 0, 0; intervals 0, 0; interlinear - single.

Note: bold and underlining are not allowed in the article, only italics.

At the bottom of the article, the university, academic degree, title (if any) and position, contacts are indicated.
