Abstract

Reporting verbs in the structure with the direct speech Reporting verbs in the structure of direct speech are considered in the article. Author’s words are studied that introduce direct speech depending on whether they are used in direct dialogue speech or direct non-dialogue speech. The article shows the variety of verbs that introduce direct speech, on one side which is caused by great meaningful opportunities of the dialogue itself, showing the conflict category, and on the other side by the case that the structures with the direct speech are used in dialogue much more than in non-dialogue structure. Some results of entire selections of linguistic factors of well - known Russian writers of late XIX and early XX centuries are performed, where three hundred nineteen verbs and verb combinations are formed introducing dialogical and non - dialogical direct speech.
