Abstract

The article considers the place of the linguistic-mental space in the media texts in modern Kazakhstan
and the essence of their analysis. It is impossible to imagine the political, social, spiritual and economic
life of the society without the daily dissemination of information. Texts of the media responding to
changes in society in a timely manner have a positive impact on the readers’ spiritual thinking. Linguistic
identity, language aspects and language content of texts in the Kazakh language were not subjected to
a detailed analysis of the content of the media. The linguistic identity and specificity of the texts of the
authors of journalistic articles and texts published on the pages of the media have been studied. The
works of the world and Kazakh scientists on the linguistic personality, the linguistic picture of the world,
on the linguistic-mental space were examined, and the texts of today’s media in Kazakh society were
analyzed, evaluated and studied with the help of the main aspects. An expert review was conducted, and
the linguistic space of several newspapers was analyzed and summarized.
The survey results show that the information provided by Kazakh media, including newspapers and
magazines, forms a socio-political language space.
