Abstract

An anthropocentrically oriented approach becomes popular in the modern method of teaching the Kazakh language. A communicative function of language is commonly accepted as important one in the school education system. But it is not a leading one in the axiological aspect. After mastering the definition of words and the language, the native speaker sees the world from his native language point of view and gets used to the culture’s conceptualization of the world. However, the analysis of Kazakh language textbooks’ content showed that national axiological concepts are not always transmitted in a systemic nature. The axiological approach in the Kazakh language teaching becomes a priority today because formation of schoolchildren’s value view on native language contributes to the individual’s national identity formation. Learning the Kazakh language is assumed to be national cultural value since it creates recognition of the historical interrelationships of language and culture.
