Contrast as a means of expressing Russian emotive poetry

The peculiarities of the semantic contrast, wherein the compound is typically observed to be combined in ordinary consciousness concepts, its emotional potential, most clearly manifested in the poetry. On the material of Russian classical poets analyzed species semantic contrast: the antithesis and oxymoron. Determined that the antonym in a literary text becomes necessary expressiveness and implements the author's ideas related to the transfer of emotional tone of the work. Emotional tokens, such as joy - grief, sadness - fun, laugh - and cry not only convey feelings of the characters, change opposite emotions, worldview contrasting characters, but the depth of their feelings. It is noted that along with contrasting emotional tokens observed in poetry and symbolic, figurative contrast. One of the most common methods of poetic expression is emotive color and light contrast. The juxtaposition of light /dark, black / white contrasts are often used, due to its expressiveness and brightly marked emotion.References
