This article considers the place of discourse in the field of linguistics, the difference between text and discourse, types of discourse.. If the "discourse" denotes to a French language "discurs" - "speak", the English language "discourse" -" discuss, talk," and our times means "word directed to the speaker." Discourse is: the importance, value, image, opinion, mental and virtual knowledge. And so it can be the object of study in all subjects, such as: linguistics, philosophy, sociology, psychology, etc. The main theme is – political discourse. Scientists studying other branches of science have also examined the problem of the political discourse. From their work, we learn the role of discourse in society and especially in linguistics.References
