The potential and the current state of the Internet offer ample opportunities for the formation of a single information space, as well as the development of virtual communication. It implies development of the Internet and the emergence of the possibility of anonymous participation among residents of different cities and regions, despite the distance, the possibility of discussion on various issues raised by the authors in journalistic texts. In this regard, an interesting and promising in scientific terms is the study of the influence of such texts on the readers’ linguistic consciousness through lexical and semantic analysis. This article analyzes the linguistic impact of negative ethnic information that affects the change in public consciousness by the example of ethno-stereotypes. The analysis revealed quantitative indicators of autostereotypes and heterostereotypes, which form a negative opinion in the analyzed texts.
