Roman characters – historical personalities (On the images of heroes in historical novels)

Abstract

This article deals with the creation of artistic figures of historical figures, which became the basis
of historical novels published after the adoption of independence. At what level are the historical and
biographical novels written in the lives of heroes written? Raised topics and ideas enriched the literary
language. At the same time, in the novels, which became the basis of historical personalities, the common remaining shortcomings are revealed, theoretical problems are analyzed. In the historical novels
«Daraboz» by K. Zhumadilova, «Raiymbek Batyr» by J. Turlybayuly, «Be Yesengeldy» by J. Ahmadi are
considered advantages and disadvantages in terms of the embodiment of images and characteristic
features of batyrs. After the adoption of independence, the features of the forms and styles of historical
novels were analyzed from different angles. Here are a few examples of visualizing the image of a historical person by putting a contrast between historical reality and artistic reality in the author’s historical
novel. The theoretical conclusions of the novelist skill and artistic power of the work are presented in
the disclosure of historical figures in historical novels. When analyzing these novels, the critics of the
researchers were taken for the semifinals, and a definite conclusion was made.
Simultaneously, The preservation of the common features of historical figures in historical novels
published in the period after independence is analyzed by these novels.
