SMART TECHNOLOGY IN TEACHING LANGUAGES: THE TRANSFORMATION OF EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

Abstract

At present time a plethora of information technologies are becoming more and more popular and are utilized in all spheres of human activity. Considering this, the requirement for more innovative applications and different Internet resources that facilitate solving a great deal of problems in a fastest and easiest way is increasing as well. It is true that above mentioned demand is also growing at a great pace in the education system. In particular, there is no doubt that the contribution of smart technologies in teaching a particular language or subject in educational institutions is significant. The aim of this article is to consistently review smart technology concept and study the efficiency of smart technologies in teaching and learning. Having discussed the methodology of smart education, this review demonstrates a comprehensive view of smart education technologies. Then there will be discussed some aspects of smart technologies that can be individually demonstrated in the teaching process and teachers’ role in using smart technology. This article presents the essence of digitalization as a common trend for education and analyzes the way the artificial intelligence and educational analytics are changing completely the educational process. After outlining the present state of smart technologies benefits, the paper discusses challenges which may occur during the usage of modern technologies. It highlights the probability of smart technologies for education systems and the way they work and how it can be affected to the role of teachers, before making instant decisions about it.
