Linguostylistic Concept of Academician Rabiga Syzdyk: Stylization of the Kazakh Word

Abstract

The article is devoted to the scientific analysis of the conceptual ideas of Academician Rabiga Syzdyk, who made a significant contribution to the formation and development of Kazakh linguostylistics as an independent discipline. Particular attention is paid to the scholar's theoretical positions related to such concepts as stylistic processing (stylization), folklorization, word selection and transformation, language harmony, and the author’s image. Based on an in-depth linguistic analysis of literary texts – particularly the works of M. Auezov, G. Musrepov, and A. Kekilbayev –  the methodology proposed by R. Syzdyk for the interpretation of the linguistic fabric of Kazakh prose is demonstrated. A separate section is devoted to contemporary trends in Kazakh literature, including the analysis of linguistic and stylistic features in the works of young authors. The article examines stylistic devices such as repetition, contextual synonyms, periphrasis, and phraseological transformations, which emphasize the richness of the expressive means of the Kazakh language. The study combines linguistic, cultural, and cognitive approaches, revealing the aesthetic and pragmatic functions of artistic language. The presented theoretical and practical observations contribute to expanding the understanding of the structure of the Kazakh literary language, its expressive potential, and stylistic possibilities. Furthermore, the scientific legacy of Academician R. Syzdyk is considered as a methodological foundation for further research in the field of linguostylistics and the culture of Kazakh speech in general.
