Abstract
The Charisma of Sherkhan Murtaza's Linguistic Personality
In this research, we examine the charisma of Sherkhan Murtaza's linguistic personality as a combination of linguistic, discursive, and pragmatic means of speech. The aim of this work is to reveal the linguistic nature of the charisma of linguistic personality based on discourse. The research found that, given the communicative potential of linguistic personality and its potential to influence the listener, its charisma has not only a psychological or sociocultural category, but also a systemic linguistic basis, observed in the choice of lexical and syntactic structures, pragmatic strategies and discursive models. Therefore, this research has scientific significance for the development of theories of linguistic personality, pragmatics, discourse studies, and speech influence. The practical significance of the research is valuable in that it can be used in courses on public speaking, in conducting stylistic and discursive analysis, in participation in media and political discourse, and in the practice of public speaking and leadership.
The methodological basis of the scientific research consists of Y.N. Karaulov's theory of linguistic personality, V.I. Karasik's concept of discursive personality, as well as the pragmatic theory of speech influence and the rhetorical model of ethos-pathos-logos. As a result of analysing the charisma of Sherkhan Murtaza's linguistic personality through the author's discourses, typical linguistic markers of charisma have been identified, pragmatic strategies of charismatic speech have been described, the linguistic conditioning of charisma has been proven, and a model of charismatic linguistic personality has been developed.
The work analyzes the specifics of the manifestation of the established traditional psychological nature in linguistic mechanisms, considering the concepts of the charisma of a linguistic personality as a form of linguistic analysis. The linguistic and pragmatic parameters in the conclusion of the research work can serve as a means of assessing speech impact in applied research and be used in the preparation of educational and analytical material on speech communication today.
