Abstract

The article considers the problems of the research of the concepts «animal – person» in the language consciousness of Kazakh and Russian people. The most important aspects of studying zoomorphisms of the Kazakh and Russian languages are culturological. It is claimed that problems of cross-cultural communication are the most actual in the epoch of globalization. The article pays considerable attention to the problems of «language – culture – communication». Revealing of the place of the concepts «animal – person» in the Kazakh and Russian language consciousness occurs through the study of cultural, historical, religious features of the native speakers of these languages. The article considers cultural conflicts and problems which can take place in the study of foreign languages because of ignorance of semantics of words. Kazakh-Russian zoomorphic similarities and distinctions caused by national and cultural specifics are also described. The representation of cultural and national traditions, peculiarities of native speakers is carried out by means of paremiological and phraseological funds of the Kazakh and Russian languages. The existence of positive and negative meanings in secondary nomination of animals in the Kazakh and Russian languages is also caused by ethnocultural features.
