The Role of Personality in Art (Nurgisa Tlendiev).

Abstract

The article defines the significance of the creative activity of N. Tlendyev, a talented composer and performer, notable music figure of the twentieth century, for the modern culture of Kazakhstan. The role of this personality in the art of Kazakhstan is defined by his many-sided talent (performer, composer, conductor), and organic synthesis in the traditional and modern creativity. N. Tlendiev was formed as a musician in the national environment and after obtaining the professional musical education, he created a new genre – orchestral kyui, in which he could implement the traditional world perceiving by means of modern musical language. By this, defining the next stage of life of modern forms and genres of Kazakh music, he became the reformer of the orchestra of Kazakh instruments and showed the real way of its development. He obtained his people’s love and recognition not only as the author of modern Kazakh songs, which became famous, but also as a great expert, performer and author of dombyra kyuis shertpe of the Zhetisu area. Touching on the theme of «personality and art» in his article the author says about the high destination of a gifted person in art.
